Nina Balistrere received her BA in Dance from Goucher College. While attending Goucher she was awarded with the Phi Beta Kappa award for her choreography, which was selected at the American College Dance Festival for national recognition in Tempe, AZ. Nina's choreography has been performed across the nation, including several Regional Dance America festivals, where she reached Gala status.
To teach dedicated and aspiring dancers with a focus on proper technique and alignment while offering pre-professional training through stage and performance opportunities.
To inspire and uplift through positive motivation which instills confidence, self worth and positive self-esteem, preparing them to become our future dancers, choreographers, teachers and mentors of the next generation.
Nina began her dance training with Berks Ballet Theatre. It was here her career in dance began, becoming a guest artist, ballet mistress, choreographer and teacher. During her professional years she performed a variety of classical and contemporary works. With her broad knowledge of dance combined with her talent, passion and experience, Nina will continue to be a great mentor for young dancers for years to come.
Danielle has been teaching tap/ballet/tumbling I and Hip Hop for the past three years, as well as the Ballet/Modern I class. She has been dancing with Allegro Dance for five years now! She trains in ballet, pointe, lyrical and tap and jazz.
In the fall, Danielle will be starting her senior year at Boyertown High School.
Kimberly has trained with Miss Nina for the past thirteen years. Kim trains in ballet, modern, lyrical, and choreography. She now teaches the Special Needs dance class.
Kim has taken many master classes including some from the winners of "So You Think You Can Dance"!
She loves working with children and choreographing!
